This week’s calendar

Fall parent-teacher conferences are being held this week. There is no late-start Wednesday. However, there are three-hour early releases. 

  • Primary students will be released early all week, Oct. 27-31

  • Middle school students will be released early Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 28-31

  • High school students will be released early Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 29-31

Monday, Oct. 27: Board of directors special meeting/work session (4 p.m.) and regular meeting (6 p.m.) at the Lewisville Campus and streaming online. Get the details.

Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 29-30: Outerwear giveaway for Battle Ground Public Schools students and families. Get the details.

Sunday, Nov. 2: Daylight Saving Time ends. Fall back one hour.

Save the date: College and Career Fair Nov. 3

Attend the upcoming College and Career Fair to learn about apprenticeship programs, trade schools, military branches and colleges.

5–7 p.m.

Financial aid presentation from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in college and career center.

All students and their families, regardless of which school or district they attend, are welcome. This free event is open to the public.

Remember to vote

Ballots are due for the Nov. 4 election. The deadline to register in person is Nov. 4. For more information, please visit the Clark County elections office webpage.

We are looking for volunteers! Volunteers play an important role in creating positive and supportive learning environments for students. Activities include helping in classrooms and school offices, greeting students, assisting with student pickup and more. Learn more and get started.
